Carrot seed and root are both used in skincare, and both carry carotenoids — the orange pigments that also act as antioxidants. Carrot-infused oils are a strong orange and impart some of that colour to whatever they go into.

Carrot appears in the face serum range, where it contributes carotenoids and a warm tone to the finished oil.
Traditional use
Long used in traditional preparations for dry and weather-exposed skin, and valued as much for its colour as anything else.
