Privacy policy

Nurtur Health ("we", "us") is a small-batch herbal skincare business based in Ontario, Canada. This policy describes what information passes through this website, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

The short version

This site has no accounts, no checkout, no cookies and no analytics. It cannot see who you are. The only personal information we ever receive from it is what you choose to send us by email.

What this site collects

Nothing is stored by the site itself. The signup and contact forms on this site do not send data to a server — they open a pre-filled message in your own email application, addressed to info@nurtur.ca. Until you press Send in your email app, nothing leaves your device.

Email you send us

If you email us — to ask a question, join a waitlist, or request the oil cleansing guide — we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer that request. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for serving you, and we never sell, rent or share your address with anyone.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email — batch announcements, the guide, waitlist notices — to people who asked for it. Every such email tells you how to opt out, and we honour opt-outs promptly, as CASL requires. To be removed at any time, reply to any email or write to info@nurtur.ca.

Purchases

All purchases happen on Amazon.ca, under Amazon's privacy notice. Amazon handles your payment, address and delivery details; we see only the order information Amazon shows to sellers, which does not include your payment details.

Technical logs and hosting

This site is served from Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). Like nearly all web hosting, the infrastructure keeps standard access logs — IP address, pages requested, browser type — used only for security and operations, and rotated on a short schedule.

Fonts

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address as part of the request. See Google's privacy policy. No other third-party resources load on this site.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@nurtur.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page.
