Rosa centifolia · RosaceaeIn one paragraph
Rosa centifolia is the many-petalled rose grown historically for perfumery, softer and sweeter in character than the damask rose. The petals are used whole in infusions, giving a delicate scent and a faint colour to oil.
How Nurtur Health uses it
Rose petals are infused for the Rose Herbal Oil and the triple rose face products, where the whole petal is used rather than a distillate.
Traditional use
One of the oldest cosmetic plants in continuous use, traditionally associated with mature and dry skin, and with dryness and comfort generally.
