Apricot

Prunus armeniaca · Rosaceae
In one paragraph

Apricot kernel oil is pressed from the stone of the apricot. It is lighter than sweet almond, absorbs cleanly, and is mild enough that it is often chosen for sensitive or mature skin. Its character is gentle rather than distinctive.

How Nurtur Health uses it

Apricot kernel oil appears in two Nurtur products, used where a lighter touch than olive is wanted.

Traditional use

A traditional carrier for facial preparations, valued for being unassertive.
