Rosehip

Rosa canina · Rosaceae
In one paragraph

Rosehip seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds inside the hip of the dog rose. It is high in linoleic and linolenic acids and carries carotenoids that give it a distinct orange cast. It is one of the more delicate oils and does not keep as long as heavier ones.

How Nurtur Health uses it

Rosehip oil is used in the face serum range, where its reputation for mature and sun-exposed skin sits alongside the rose infusions.

Traditional use

Traditionally used in South America for scars and weathered skin, and now one of the best-known face oils in the world.
